69 year old man with epigastric pain, vomiting with haematemesis, early satiety, anorexia and weight loss for 8 months.
Gross Description
The distal half of the stomach shows an extensive thickening of the wall by a pale tumour mass diffusely infiltrating the layers of the gastric wall. Note the tumour insinuating between the muscularis propria fibres into the serosa. The tumour obstructs the gastric outlet.
