37 year-old lady who presented with right pelvic pain, pervaginal spotting and severe nausea. Urine pregnancy test was positive, and B HCG in the blood was 128,000 mIU/mL.
The right fallopian tube lumen is expanded by a haemorrhagic mass of placental tissue. A small fetus is also identified, indicating that this is a partial mole rather than a complete mole. The grape-like vesicles of oedematous chronic villi are not readily apparent here.
