75 year old man with history of pulmonary tuberculosis. He presented with intestinal obstruction.
The convoluted loops of small bowel show a segment of thickened wall with ulcerated surface and stricture. Cut section shows tan tissue with necrosis and whitish foci of calcification . There is serosal and likely lymph nodal involvement with bowel loop adhesions. The thickened wall is due to granulomatous inflammation and necrosis.
